What is the structure of the tournment?

The tournments is a round robin structure, where each team plays against each other.

The exact structure is dependent on the number of teams that are entered.  We are working on a scenario that there will be 5 teams entered.  This will result in each team playing 4 games.

Why are Stockholm CC organising this?

There are two rasons why we are organising the Stockholm U15 Cricket Festival.

Firstly, to develop our junior players they need to have games so that they can put into practice the skills that they are learning in practice. It is also important for our players development for them to socialise with other similar aged children with a similar passion for cricket.

Secondly, it is important that cricket takes a place in society.  Having a festival will allow us as a cricket community to take one more step in its integration as one of the official sports in Sweden, where we can show case young adults playing with passion and in the spirit of cricket.
